Donate Your LEGOs To The New Rochelle Public Library

The library is building a LEGO program in its children's room, and it's hoping the public will donate LEGOs they no longer use to the cause.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If unwanted LEGOs are piling up in your house, you can make the New Rochelle Public Library their new home.

The library is starting a LEGO program in its children's room, and it's hoping the public will donate LEGOs they no longer want to the cause.

"If you have LEGO or DUPLO blocks (or bases/plates) you no longer need, the Library would love to give them a new home," library officials wrote on Facebook.

The library doesn't need tables, officials said, just the blocks themselves.

LEGO donations can be brought to the children's room at the library (1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle) during regular library hours (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.).
