Early Voting Begins In Westchester County On Saturday, With 1 Important Change

Westchester County voters can cast their ballots at any of the 25 designated early voting sites in the county.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Early voting begins in Westchester County on Saturday, but there is one important change voters should be aware of this year.

Early voting for the General Election is the nine-day period where voters can vote in-person before Election Day on November 4, in Westchester County. All registered voters in the County of Westchester can vote early.

The early voting period will be from Saturday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Nov. 2, during the following days and times:

  • Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Monday, October 27, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, October 31, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Westchester County Board of Elections is no longer an early voting center and has been replaced with the White Plains Public Library this year.

Voting during early voting is the same as voting on Election Day. When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot, and vote as in any other election.

Any registered voter in Westchester County may apply for an early mail ballot.

If you are out of your home county, or if you live in New York City, are outside of the five boroughs, or if you are permanently or temporarily disabled, ill or are the primary care giver for one or more people who are ill or physically disabled, or a resident of a Veterans Hospital, or detained in jail awaiting Grand Jury action, or incarcerated for an offense other than a felony, you may apply for an absentee ballot.

Voter registration applications must be received by the board of elections no later than Oct. 25, to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

You may register in-person at your local board of elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year, but to be eligible to vote in the General Election, your application must be received no later than Oct. 25.
