An Elegant New 'Motif' Now Adorns The New Rochelle Skyline
The city's newest high-rise luxury residential tower has opened its doors and the livin' is easy for those moving on up.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If downtown New Rochelle seems to be a bit more bustling lately, it might be because the new neighbors just moved in.
The city's newest luxury residential building is officially open and the pet-friendly tower can only improve the vibe in the city.
"We’re thrilled to be celebrating the grand opening of Motif and to begin welcoming residents to their new home within New Rochelle’s burgeoning Downtown district," BRP's Meredith Marshall said at the official grand opening this week. "We’re proud to be playing a role in the ongoing revitalization taking place in Downtown New Rochelle and to be increasing the supply of quality housing in the community, an area experiencing steady population growth."

Motif, a 172-unit, seven-story, 210,775-square-foot residential development on Commerce Drive, is now part of the neighborhood. A mix of studios (53), one-bedrooms (64) and two-bedroom (55) apartments with in-unit amenities are still available Monthly rents start at $1,925 for studio apartments, $2,455 for one-bedrooms apartments and $3,610 for two-bedroom apartments.

Building amenities include a fitness center, a resident lounge and work space, a landscaped courtyard with grills, a resident arcade room, free WiFi throughout the building, a dog wash station and on-site parking.

"We are thrilled to work with BRP on another successful development," Sherry Wang, co-head of Goldman Sachs' Asset Management Urban Investment Group, said. "The completion of Motif creates new homes in downtown New Rochelle and we look forward to seeing the continued growth of this vibrant community."
Construction of the Motif began in July of 2020 and was completed in March.
