Just A Long Drive Away: How To Win The Club Everyone's Talking About

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — They say if you can't beat 'em, join 'em — so, a competition to try to outdrive the PXG GEN6 might just make everyone a winner.

August 31 is the last chance to take the PXG GEN6 Driver Challenge. In New Rochelle, the victors, the converts and the undecided will be celebrated in style.

Attendees of the big night at PXG in Nardozzi Place will be able to try their hand at testing their driver against the GEN6 Driver and if they can beat it, they will walk away with $100. But the real winners will be the champions of the longest drive contest, one man and one woman, who will each win a GEN6 driver of their very own.

For those who aren't ready to compete off the tee box, two lucky attendees will win an apparel makeover courtesy of PXG apparel. The new PXG fall collection will be on display. This year's line is descibed as "perfect for pickleball as well as golf."

Organizers said the unveiling of the new sports fashion line, coupled with the final oppportunity to face down the elite new GEN6 driver, makes the event somewhat of a "last chance – first look" celebration.

Everyone is welcome to this free event but advance reservations are highly encouraged for the driver challenge. For those who are ready to rise to the challenge, there are a few ways to participate:

• Pre-Plan Your Experience: Schedule your PXG GEN6 Driver Challenge ahead of time. Limited availability.
• First-come, First-serve Experience: Don your current driver and take your chances. Join the excitement and the queue that evening to participate in the PXG GEN6 Driver Challenge.
• Come Out and Hang with PXG: New to the game? Don’t have a current driver? No worries! Come out and experience the power of PXG clubs by taking a few swings in the simulator and partake in the longest drive competition. No pressure and no reservations required.

Guests do not have to make reservations for the GEN6 Driver Challenge in advance. Booking is encouraged, but if customers do not get a spot, they are still welcome to come as there will be a few walk-in spots available (first-come, first-serve).

This special, one-night-only event takes place Thursday, August 31, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m, at 100 Nardozzi Place, in New Rochelle.
