New Rochelle Parents Welcome Twins On 'Twos Day'
The twin girls were born at Westchester Medical Center on "twos day" — 2/22/22.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — When they get older, newborn twins Essence Naomi and Parker Gisselle will have a fun story to tell about their date of birth.
The twins were born at Westchester Medical Center on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 — aka "twos day."
They "join a special club of babies born on a five-digit palindrome date (2.22.22) that reads the same from left-to-right and right-to-left," officials from Westchester Medical Center said in a news release.

Even their weight involves the number two — though they're fraternal twins, each of them weighed two kilograms (six pounds) at birth, officials said.
Essence and Parker were born to parents Alexandria Gordon and Johnathan Garnett of New Rochelle, officials said, and all are now at home and doing well.
