PXG New Rochelle 'First Tee' Event Teaches Lessons Beyond The Links
Students as young as 6 years old were able to learn about golf and life from golf professionals and a West Point coach.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A Mecca for golfers set its sites on building a love of the sport among the next generation, and the effort had an impact that helped teach lessons that will last a lifetime, both at the tees and in life.
PXG New Rochelle, a storied golf equipment and apparel retailer, hosted a Veterans Day event with First Tee, a renowned youth development organization. Over 60 students from all around Westchester County, ranging in age from 6 to 15, participated in the gathering.
Organizers say that the event was an opportunity for youngsters to receive personalized fittings and instruction from PXG’s expert staff, with the highlight of the event being the presence of 2nd Lieutenant Marshall Daniel, a former golf player for West Point who now serves as the graduate assistant coach. Lt. Daniel shared his experiences from both his time at West Point and his journey in the world of golf, offering inspiration and insights to the children.
