Victim Pistol-Whipped In Overnight Westchester Home Invasion
Two suspects, with semi-automatic weapons, escaped with approximately $75,000 worth of jewelry, according to New Rochelle police.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police are investigating an overnight home invasion robbery that left the victim injured.
The robbery took place during the early morning on Saturday. At 1:25 a.m., a 25-year-old male victim was attacked when returning to his home on Kewanee Road.
Two suspects, both armed with semi-automatic handguns, confronted the victim at the home. The suspects pistol-whipped him and escaped with approximately $75,000 worth of jewelry, according to preliminary reports from the NRPD.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
"Detectives believe this was a targeted incident and consider it an isolated event for the Kewanee Road neighborhood," NRPD said in a statement. "The investigation is ongoing, with detectives working diligently to identify and apprehend the suspects ... The safety of our community remains our top priority, and we are committed to bringing those responsible for this crime to justice. "

The suspects are described as Black males, both wearing masks, possibly in their 20s or 30s.
The New Rochelle Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact NRPD at 914-654-2300 or anonymously at 914-632-COPS.
