  1. Lisa Finn writes that Marc LaMaina, owner of Lucharitos, wants Mattituck Cinemas to become an artistic hub for local high school students. He posted a call on social media for ideas to use the theater in creative ways. (Patch)
  2. Next week will be a “12 Days of Takeout” event to benefit the Greater Jamesport Civic Association and its community service award scholarship.   4. A Wading River woman was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison for helping her boyfriend operate a large-scale drug dealing operation that trafficked in cocaine, heroin and fentanyl. Amber Schatz and her boyfriend, Curtis Prussick, sold drugs from parking lots around Rocky Point. (Patch)
