- Two students in the Greenport Union Free School District tested positive for COVID-19, Superintendent Marlon Small wrote in an email to parents on Monday. (Patch)
- Popular and longtime Hamptons restaurant, the Lobster Roll, now has a sister restaurant in Southampton that will stay open year-round. The new eatery is at 32 Montauk Highway. (Patch)
- Brookhaven National Laboratory is getting $8 million from the U.S. Department of Energy to study electric vehicles, advanced batteries, and connected vehicles. Scientists at the Upton lab will work on two battery projects, part of renewable energy efforts. (tbrnewsmedia.com)
