  1. On Tuesday, New York State Senator Anthony Palumbo (R-New Suffolk), Assemblyman Fred Thiele (I-Sag Harbor) and Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R-Riverhead) asked Gov. Kathy Hochul to open state testing sites in eastern Suffolk County, particularly on the East End, to meet the omicron-driven demand for testing. (Dan's Papers)

The late Boy Scout, who died in 2018 after he and his troop were struck by a drunk driver while hiking in Manorville, will be remembered at "Andrew's Top Gun Run," hosted by the Suffolk County Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Andrew McMorris Foundation on March 26.
