- The town board voted 5 to 1 on Tuesday to opt out of allowing adult use cannabis retail dispensaries and on-site consumption sites in Southold Town. (Patch)
- Two Riverhead men have now been charged with a recent Coram murder. Branzel Bonner Jr., 25, of Shirley was found shot to death in the woods on Dec. 2. Marcus Reid, 23, was arrested on Dec. 13 and Monique Brown, 28, was arrested on Tuesday. (Patch)
- Suffolk is offering a $2,000 award for information leading to an arrest in the fatal Christmas shooting in Southampton. The burglary at 90 Roses Grove Road led to 53-year-old Steven Byrnes being shot to death. (Patch)
- Riverhead Police are looking for a 14-year-old girl who is missing from Little Flower Children's Services in Wading River. Autumn Tucker left the Little Flower campus at 2450 North Wading River Road and was picked up by a gold Lexus four-door sedan, NY registration HGH8701. (RiverheadLOCAL)
- The East End Food Market in Riverhead will be open today, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will be closed on Saturday for New Year’s Day and be back Saturday, Jan. 8. (RiverheadLOCAL)
