Southold Town Emergency Shelters Open Sunday at 5 p.m.
Supervisor to declare state of emergency, recommends evacuation for those in flood-prone areas.

Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell and the Office of Emergency Management released a statement Saturday afternoon recommending that all Southold Town residents residing in low-lying areas of the Town prone to flooding/erosion should evacuate to a safe location, and that a state of emergency will be declared as of 5 p.m. Sunday.
The following Southold Town shelters will be available beginning on Sunday at 5 p.m.
