‘South Pacific’ Debuts Thursday at Mattituck Theater
Wash that man right out of your hair in Mattituck this weekend.

Known for now legendary songs like “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair,” and “I’m in Love With a Wonderful Guy,” “South Pacific” is one memorable musical from Rodgers and Hammerstein to come out of early 1950s American theater.
And a cast and crew at the in Mattituck will bring local audiences their version of the show beginning Thursday night at 8 p.m. The production is part of the theater’s Youth on Stage program and features young actors ages 14 to 22. “South Pacific” is directed by Bob Beodeker and Jake Boergesson. Lucille Naar-Saladino choreographs and Sherry Beodeker produces this production.
Other performances take place July 26 – 29, Aug. 2 - 5 and Aug. 9 - 12. Shows start at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at NFCT.com or at 631-298-6328.
