What Are Your Favorite Banned Books?

This week, North Fork libraries are displaying books that have been banned at certain places and times — "The Grapes of Wrath," "1984," "Uncle Tom's Cabin" — even the children's classic, "Green Eggs and Ham."

"This is an incredibly important week for libraries everywhere," said Southold Free Librarian Penny Kelley, who made a display of banned books in the teen's area of the library.
