Average sale price of Westchester condos plummet 11%
Interestingly, across the bridge in Rockland, average condo sale price jumped up 11%.
Westchester County single-family homes sold for an average of $1,051,376, up 5.6% from the same quarter last year. Median sale price for this type of home was $760,000, up 4.3%.
Condos saw an interesting first quarter with average sale price at $518,491, down 11.1% from the same quarter last year while median sale price only saw a less than 1% change falling to $444,000. This means most of the condos sold in Q1 had a much lower sale price than last year.
