ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — The Rockland Arts Festival, an annual two-week event honoring artists from Rockland County and the surrounding areas, will culminate Sunday with a full program of art works, live music, dance performances — and even Art Bingo.

This year, 12 free live virtual events are brand new and were hosted on Zoom as well as live-streamed on the festival’s YouTube and Facebook platforms, co-coordinator Lisa D’Amico told Patch. They include computer animation, writers' workshops, curators’ talks, dance classes, backstage experiences, and arts enrichment programs. Visitors to the festival’s website can also view the works of 120 outstanding local visual artists You can browse four pages of outstanding work by talented artists and performers, presented alphabetically by first name. You can even click on an image to visit the artist’s website or social media, see more of their work, purchase art, and ask questions!

"The festival has brought together the best local artists and entertainment in an informal and fun environment suitable for all ages," D'Amico said.

The in-person arts celebration Sunday at the Palisades Center in West Nyack will feature a full program including works from 75 artists, live music by Grammy Award winning violinist Momoko Uchida, and dance performances by Victoria Saretsky, D'Amico said. Admission to Sunday's celebration of creativity is free, providing an inclusive opportunity for all guests to join the festivities. Attendees will also be treated to complimentary refreshments and snacks, Palisades Center officials said.
