DWI, Reckless Driving Charged on Palisades Parkway

Incident early Saturday on northbound side of parkway.

A Suffern man is charged with drunken driving and reckless driving in connection with an early-morning incident Saturday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, according to State Police.

Brandon W. Coke, 27, was stopped by police at about 4:18 a.m. in the area of the Exit 12 interchange in the Town of Ramapo, police said.

In addition to driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and reckless driving, also a misdemeanor, Coke was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, a violation.

He was released to a third party pending a hearing in Ramapo Town Court.
