Haiti Volunteer Speaks About Experiences

From the event's press release:

ROCKLAND RESIDENT DR. MELVIN ROSENWASSER TO SPEAK ABOUT HIS WORK IN HAITI AS PART OF DOMINICAN COLLEGE'S FOUNDERS WEEK 2010

The catastrophic earthquake that shook Haiti on January 12, 2010 may have faded from the front page, but the devastation it caused continues to be felt. Many individuals and organizations continue to work on the ground in Haiti, attending to medical issues and basic infrastructure needs. Dominican College will highlight some of the work going on in Haiti as part of the annual Founders' Week celebration.

A panel discussion titled "Haiti: Tragedy and Transformation" will take place on Monday, September 20 at 11:15 a.m. in the Hennessy Center. Rockland resident Dr. Melvin P. Rosenwasser, Director of the Orthopedic Hand and Trauma Service at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center will be a participant in the panel.
