"I am dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals like him. I am trying to use my voicde to speak up for those whose voices often go unheard."

Julien's brother inspired his new song, "I Am Abled," which he will perform 11 a.m. Thursday along with representatives of Jawonio, Inc, Camp Venture's "Rockademy" Band and vocalist Danielle Sheri Wasserman at the Nyack Farmer's Market on Main Street in Nyack.

The music video for "I Am Abled" appears on the Autism Speaks website here with more information about Julien's inspiration for the song. He said he wrote it in response to New York State budget cuts in programs for people with disabilities.
