Nyack Gears Up for Classic Car Night

Nyack car connoisseurs and Top Gear devotees can stay local this month.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Nyacks and are teaming up to host a classic car night Thursday, July 19 in the village's downtown parking lot. Vintage and specialty vehicles will be on display in the late afternoon, and owners are encouraged to register their own prize rides, too.

Chamber members said the free event is likely to boost the number of downtown shoppers and diners, too.

"This community-building event promises to attract a strong showing of car enthusiasts—people who take pride in owning and maintaining special vehicles as well as people who appreciate them," said Mark K. Mangan, Chamber Board Member and event organizer. "It's a great opportunity to showcase the village’s unique stores, restaurants and service businesses."

"Black Bear staff will be on hand to lead activities for the kids so everyone will have an enjoyable night out in Nyack," Mangan added.
