Nyack Properties in County's Upcoming Tax-Delinquency Auction

Rockland officials will auction off 62 properties for back taxes that were or will be acquired by the county from tax lien sales after the period of redemption had expired.

Purchasers will get the property free and clear of county, town, school and village taxes and assessments owed to the County of Rockland with three exceptions—the buyer is responsible for payment in full (including interest and penalties) of the 2014 Village tax, if any; 2014 school tax, and for all outstanding village taxes in non-participating villages.

You must be registered to bid. People with delinquent property taxes will not be allowed to bid. The auction will begin 7 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Legislative Chambers in the Allison-Parris County Office Building, 11 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY.
