Piermont Police Arrest 3 For Vehicular Violations

Piermont Police recently made three arrests for drivers with suspended licenses or registration as well as other violations.

Piermont Police stoped Hirendra Bansradj, 40, of Rosendale, NY Dec. 27 at 5:20 p.m. for taking his truck onto Valentine Ave., where trucks are not allowed.

Bansradj had four suspensions on his license and was charged with disobeying traffic control for taking a truck into a no truck zone and was given a suspended operator summons. He is due in court Jan. 23.

The next day at 2:30 p.m., Piermont Police pulled over Michael Wilkins, 32, of Bergenfield, NJ because the bumper was hanging off his car. He also had a suspended license and will be back in court Jan. 23.

On Dec. 29, Mohammed Albqowr, 32, of Yonkers was arrested after being involved in an accident for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. His registration was suspended due to an insurance lapse. His car was impounded and he is also due to return to court Jan. 23.
