Police: Nyack Man Hit with Drug Charges

A Nyack man was hit with drug-related charges in connection with an early-morning incident on Sunday in Nanuet, according to State Police.

Andy Tassy, 40, of Nyack was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, also a misdemeanor, at 2:20 a.m. at 367 West Route 59, police said.

Tassy was later released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
