How much has your home value increased? If you bought a single-family home in Rockland County 20 years ago in 2003, it has appreciated 60% by 2022. Over in Westchester, it would have appreciated 52%.

Historically, seems homes purchased in Rockland have gained a higher percentage in value than buying a home in Westchester that same year.

In looking at condos, appreciation isn't as high of a percentage as a single-family home and, actually, if you bought a condo in 2021, it fell in value by 2% by the following year.
