Sewer Pipe Break Creates Mess at Nyack Beach State Park

A sewer pipe break at the old powerhouse/bath house at Nyack Beach State Park has created a bit of a mess at the park.

The break has led to a waste spill into a portion of the parking lot at the facility at the foot of Hook Mountain along the Hudson River.

Police said the park remains open, with a section of the parking area blocked off because of the problem.
