SUFFERN, NY — A one-car crash on the state Thruway led to a Suffern man being accused of drunken driving with a child in his car in violation of Leandra’s Law.

The New York State Police said troopers were sent to the crash on Interstate 87 in the town of Woodbury around 10:45 p.m. Friday.

A preliminary investigation found the driver of the vehicle — Matthew A. Moskowitz, 26, of Suffern — was traveling south in the right lane when he left the lane and stuck the concrete barrier on the western shoulder, causing the car to become disabled.
