Traffic Infraction Leads to Marijuana Arrest
An Orangeburg man passing through Piermont has been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

An illegal turn resulted in more than a traffic ticket for a man passing through Piermont.
A 20-year-old man from Orangeburg was pulled over Aug. 14 at approximately 10:30 p.m. on 9W after a traffic infraction. When Piermont police approached the car, they smelled burnt marijuana.
The man has been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and was issued a traffic ticket. The day before, on Friday the 13th, another Orangeburg man was charged for the same violation.
