Where To—And Where Not To—Fill Up Your Tank
Patch searches out the least and most expensive places to fuel up this summer.
When you're looking for the most economic gas station this summer, all the driving and searching may wind up negating the bargain. So recently, Patch took care of seeking out the region's best-priced fueling station—and worst-priced. The range turned out to be over $0.30.
Nyack's Citgo—located at 501 N Highland Ave.—is the frugal driver's best bet for cheap gas. Prices fluctuate, but generally come in around $2.93 per gallon of regular. For those looking for even cheaper fuel, check out the BP station in Congers at 102 Lake Rd. ($2.90/gallon)—but the extra trip up north may defeat the purpose.
The region's most expensive? The Nyack Shell Station at 45 N Highland Ave. A gallon of regular generally runs $3.26
