Croton's Treasures & Tales Told to "Vacate the Premises"

The owner of Treasures & Tales says this is just the beginning.

It was just a couple months ago when Treasures & Tales held its grand reopening. Now, owner Liz Jacobson says she has to pack her bags. On Facebook Jacobson said that her building has been for sale since she set up shop. According to Liz, the landlord says there has been an offer on the building and she has been given 30 days notice to vacate the premises.

In true style Liz is throwing a potluck party in response to the news. It will be on Saturday at 6 p.m. Bring a dish and your drink of choice.

Liz says she hopes a miracle will happen and that she'll be able to buy the building. However, she says if that doesn't happen she will relocate.  "This story is not over - just time for a new chapter. In the meantime, it's time to have some fun and party," said Liz on her Facebook page.
