Croton Teen Killed in Crash

Officials continue to investigate the cause of a deadly car crash that claimed one girl's life and left another in critical condition.

Friends and family are remembering Croton teen Margaret Radford this morning. The 17-year-old was killed in a Sunday night car crash in Port Chester. The passenger in the car, 16-year-old Stamford resident Celia Sprouse, is in critical condition this morning.

Investigators say the accident happened on 287 at 9 p.m., after Radford lost control of her BMW. Officials say wet roads and speed may have been a factor—as they continue to investigate the deadly accident.

Rescue workers had to use the Jaws of Life to get Sprouse and Radford out of the vehicle. Radford was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This morning, officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
