Dolores Nibbe, 51-Year Ossining Resident, Dies at 84

Dolores M. Nibbe, a 51-year resident of Ossining, passed away on December 9.

Dolores was born in Hastings-on-Hudson on July 26, 1929 and was the daughter of Walter and Helena (Boschi) Murphy. She was 84.
 
Dolores retired from the Maryknoll Fathers, where she worked in correspondence. 

She also worked for the Readers Digest Association. Dolores was a parishioner of St. Augustine’s Church.

Dolores is survived by her husband Henry, her five children, Lori (Bob Jr.) Lamb, 
Henry Jr. (Debbie), Thomas (Sonia), Barbara (Tim) Bushell and Jennifer; three 
siblings, Mary Gambino, Raymond and William Murphy; and eight grandchildren, 
Jesse and Douglas Ryan, Gregory Lamb, Brianna, Sophie and Sierra Nibbe, Michele and T.J. Bushell. She was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, James and Charles Murphy, and by her sister Lucille Murphy.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM, and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Dorsey. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
