Gizmos, Gadgets Galore At Croton’s CET
Parents of Carrie E. Tompkins students played with school technology during the event.

From Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School: Parents learned that the library is a center infused with both traditional books and cutting-edge technology during a special event at Croton-Harmon’s Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School.
“Gizmos and Gadgets was an event to introduce parents to the different center experiences available in the library,” said CET librarian Renoir McManus. “Parents came and played and asked questions. It was a fun, informal event.”

Attendees got hands-on with an Ozobot, coded mazes with a robot mouse and programmed using a Sphero SPRK, along with many other interactive activities.
