Happy 200th Birthday, Ossining!
The Village of Ossining kicked off the celebration of its bicentennial Tuesday evening with a special exhibit at the library.
Chartered as the Village of Sing Sing in 1813, the now Village of Ossining is celebrating its 200th year.
The Village began its series of bicentennial events with an art show and reception at the Ossining Public Library Tuesday—the exact 200th anniversary—followed by a reading of the original charter.
