Heads Up Croton: Hydrant Testing

From the Village: water department will be performing hydrant testing on January 11th, 12th and 13th. This testing is part of the development of the computer model for the water distribution system upgrade. Hydrant flow testing will be performed between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. As the hydrant flow test program nears you neighborhood, you may notice a slight discoloration of your water. This is temporary and poses no health risks. Simply run you water for a short period of time until it clears up. Do not do any laundry until you are sure that your water is clear. If discoloration persists, contact the Croton on Hudson DPW at 271-3775. We apologize for any inconvenience the hydrant flow testing program may cause.
