Louvenia Jones, a resident of Fishkill and former longtime Ossining resident, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
Louvenia was born in Clarendon County, S.C. on October 10, 1926 and was the daughter of the late John Taylor & Ella Nora (Horton) Bradshaw. She was 87.
Louvenia is survived by 10 children: Willie Jr. (Mary), Joseph (Tina), Anthony (Willa), Derrick, Rena (Trenton) Hall, Ella Havard, Louvenia (Sam) Gamble, Barbara Jones, Mary (Raymond) Bailey & Sharon (Melvin) Edwards;
her siblings John, Hampton & Hurvey Bradshaw & Rena Gray & Ella Bradshaw; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Willie Sr.; her 2 sons Richard & Wayne & her grandson Darren Bailey.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Spring St., Ossining, NY. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment Dale Cemetery in
Ossining.
