Man Arrested for Rape and Endangering the Welfare of a Child
A Hudson Valley man faces felony rape and endangering the welfare of a child charges.

The Ulster County Family Violence Unit announces the arrest of DENZEL FRANCIS, 21, of Saugerties, NY, for the felony charges of Rape in the third degree, (two counts), and misdemeanor charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, (two counts). FRANCIS was arrested subsequent to an investigation into allegations that he had sexual contact with two teenage female victims, ages 15 and 16, while in the village of Saugerties. FRANCIS is scheduled to reappear before village of Saugerties Justice Rightmeyer on June 11, 2012. Anyone with information about possible inappropriate contact between FRANCIS and other underage persons should contact Inv. CARMEN GOFFREDO at (845) 334-5137.
