Ossining police stopped a man in the village who was outside of his car but "had a hard time standing and couldn't follow instructions," Lt. William Sullivan said.
Police found Juan D. Yari-Ortega, 44, of Ossining, at Spring Street and Lafayette on Nov. 28 at 5:50 p.m.
Testing reportedly revealed his blood alcohol count to be .24, exactly three times the legal limit of .08.
He was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation in the first (for being intoxicated), aggravated DWI (for being unlicensed), and DWI.
It was his first driving while intoxicated charge, Sullivan said.
