As anyone who has tried to coordinate a blood drive well knows, it is HARD to get volunteers to come for these. Despite the great need in depleting blood banks, blood donors are rare.
Working against these odds and a snowstorm requiring rescheduling, Ossining High School was still able to host a successful drive last week.
All the more reason "to be so proud of the kids of OHS," Diana Goldstein writes. "The American Red Cross group president Michael Goldstein headed up a blood drive that was a great success even after a snow day postponed it."
"The results of the drive were able to help 147 people," Goldstein said.
Well done. Thanks to all the donors and volunteers.
