Ossining Man, 3 Other Elderly Men, Arrested for Public Indecency at Local Park: Police
Danbury police arrested men from Ossining, Somers, Brewster and New Milford for alleged sexual acts in a park.
Danbury, CT — Four men were arrested on Thursday after residents in the Mill Plain Road area alerted police of men engaging in sexual activity in a park and in a parking lot, according to a report.
Sgt. James Antonelli said that the Danbury Police Department received numerous complaints of public indecency in the area of the Mill Plain commuter lot and the Farrington Woods Recreational Park on Mill Plain Road. Members of the Community Conditions Unit (CCU) set up surveillance to monitor the area and saw the men engaging in sexual activity in a public place after several days of investigating, police said.
Jay Doyle, 67, of New Milford was arrested and released on a written promise to appear in court. His court date is set for July 11, 2016.Stuart Sherr, 72, of Ossining, NY was arrested and released on a written promise to appear in court on July 7, 2016.
Patsy Barbato, 77, of Somers NY, Michael Melnick, 85, of Brewster NY were both arrested and released on a $500 bond. Both men are due in court on July 13, 2016.
All four men were arrested for public indecency, according to a report.
