Ossining's Finest located a man who is accused of violating an order of protection.

An alleged order of protection violation turned into a large police operation on Ossining's Sarah Street. Here's the details, from , of the incident that had neighbors on edge:

On February 4th around 1:15 in the morning Ossining Police were called to 20 Sarah Street by Kimberly Gunther to report a violation of an order of protection issued by the Town of Ossining Court. Ms. Gunther reported that Willie James Jackson was present at that address which violated an order to stay away from the home. When officers arrived the complainant stated she believed that Mr. Jackson was in an apartment next door and that he might have a shotgun. She presented the supervisor, Sgt. Giorgio, with a 12 gauge shot gun shell as evidence he might be armed. Officers attempted to enter the apartment but met with resistance against the door. Sgt. Giorgio activated the Department’s Emergency Team and waited with officers around the building. When officers could make no contact with Mr. Jackson they searched the apartment and he was not present. They then searched the yards and areas around 20 Sarah where they found Mr. Jackson hiding. He was taken into custody by the police, but was not armed. Mr. Jackson, age 70, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, Menacing and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
