Ossining Police Incident Reports
The following are Town of Ossining police incidents reported by Westchester County Police Spokesman Kieran O'Leary.

Saturday, Feb. 25 – 3:28 a.m. – A resident of the Cedar Lane Apartments was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, a felony, and Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor, after he allegedly broke into the complex’s boiler room and damaged the heating control panel by smashing it repeatedly with a baseball bat.
Tathagata Chaudhury, 28, of 42 Cedar Lane was arrested by Westchester County Police Officers Ellen Chadwick and Manuel Dacruz after they responded to the complex on a report of a man wielding a baseball bat. Chaudhury was arraigned in and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
Friday, Feb. 24 – 4:37 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Route 9A southbound near Route 134 on a report of a tractor-trailer off the roadway. The truck had slid off the road due to snow and ice, but was not damaged. The driver was able to get back on the roadway without need of a tow truck.

Thursday, Feb. 23 – 3:52 p.m. – An anonymous caller to Westchester County Police headquarters reported that medical waste had been dumped in Ryder Park. The park was checked but no sign of any illegal dumping was found. Other town park properties were checked as well with the same result.
Tuesday, Feb. 21 – 11:38 p.m. – Westchester County Police arrested a Rye Brook resident on a warrant charging her with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor. The warrant was discovered after Gabriella McDonough, 22, of 138 Brush Hollow was stopped for by an officer for failing to obey a stop sign at Reeback Drive and Stormytown Road. She was transported to the Ossining Command and was turned over to the custody of the New Castle Police Department, which had lodged the warrant.

Monday, Feb. 20 – 6:03 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted a resident of North State Road who was having an asthma attack. The 26-year-old woman was subsequently taken by ambulance to Phelps memorial Hospital Center.
