With the winter months upon us and the threat of a possible snow storm later this week, I thought it would be important to communicate with you regarding our 2012-2013 District calendar and snow days.

Our 2012-2013 District Calendar has seven (7) built- in inclement weather days.  With Hurricane Sandy utilizing five (5) built in inclement weather days, if there is a need to close school for more than two days from now until the end of this school year we would follow the schedule below as noted in our one page calendar.

  • Weather make-up days to be taken in the following order:  3/25, 3/27, 3/26

Our hope is that the remainder of the school year can continue without interruption, yet if it is necessary to close for more than two days, we would follow this schedule.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely yours,

Raymond Sanchez
Interim Superintendent
