_At 6:30 p.m. the Ossining Library offers this chance to preview the upcoming Documentary GMO OMG: Seeds of Freedom, and engage in lively dialog (and tastings) with local farmers from Kitchawan, Hemlock Hill, and Hilltop Hanover.

_The August Art Show at Ossining Library is up today. "Art Within Nature" features landscape photography by Pleasantville's Bob Uricchio. (Opening reception on Saturday, August 3 at 2 p.m.)

Friday, August 2
_The Ossining Fire Department Annual Parade steps off at 7 p.m. at Roosevelt Square today. The parade will continue down Croton Avenue (Route 133) to Route 9, to Main Street to Secor Road and end at the Waterfront. Dozens of Fire Departments and Emergency Response organizations will be participating as well as various community groups and government officials and representatives. “We hope you will come out to enjoy the music, watch the parade and support the firefighters!”
