Police: Ossining Man Wields Knife, Robs Victim of $15

An Ossining man faces a felony charge after allegedly robbing someone on his own street.

Edward Bentley, 30, of James Street, Ossining was arrested following a report of a robbery Wednesday afternoon, Lt. William Sullivan said.

He allegedly approached a man, 53, walking on his street around 3:30 p.m. and pulled a knife out on him. He robbed the man of $15 cash, Sullivan said. 

Bentley was charged with first degree robbery, a felony, and held pending arraignment. 

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
