Robbed on the Way to Ossining Train Station
Police say they are investigating a robbery that happened near the Ossining train station.

The Village of Ossining Police Department has released the following information regarding a robbery near the train station.
On February 3, 2012 at around 8:30 pm were called to 13 Hunter Street on a report of a woman needing help. Upon arrival at that address officers were met by the caller/victim and told that she had been robbed while walking in the vicinity of Secor Road on the way to the Ossining Train Station.
As she passed two black males on the sidewalk one male walked alongside her and the other behind her. At this point she was fearful and moved into the roadway to avoid them. One of the males approached her and displayed a knife. The victim turned and attempted to run up Secor Road, but was confronted by one of the males who snatched her purse and ran away.

The victim last saw both males running east toward Main Street. She described them as wearing dark clothing, being around 18 years of age and one of them appeared to have a red hood or hat. Officers in a patrol car searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects matching the description.
