Snow Slows, But Won't Stop Santa; New Phelps Midwife from Ossining

1) In municipal news: Village of Ossining's Board of Trustees Ossining holds a regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. In Croton, utility bills in Croton have been sent out and can be paid by Jan. 15 with an online option here. Please note also that waylaid by the weather, Santa will now be making the rounds for the Croton Fire Department's Candy Cane Run on Sunday, Dec. 22, following the same schedule.

2) Congrats to Ossining nurse, Rebecca McCracken, who has joined Phelps Memorial Hospital staff as a midwife with the Sleepy Hollow Medical Group.

4) News of a fire that destroyed a Yorktown building once used by KISS guitarist Ace Frehley as a recording studio was one of Patch's most popular yesterday. Closer to home, a family was displaced by a fire in Sleepy Hollow.
