Old Westbury Only Nassau Zip Code In Top 100 Priciest In 2022: Report

OLD WESTBURY, NY — Only one Nassau County zip code made into Property Shark's 100 most expensive zip codes in the nation list, released on Tuesday. Old Westbury was 49th on the rankings of highest median home sales for 2022.

Sagaponack moved to number two, getting bumped from last year's top spot by Atherton, CA, where median sales hit $7.9 million. Several other South Fork zips were on the list.
Old Westbury — 11568 — had a median home sale price tag of $2,508,000, according to Property Shark.

The real estate company noted that this is the first year Long Island had more zip codes in the top 100 than New York City, attributing the change to demographic shifts after the pandemic.

Overall, Nassau's place in the nation's priciest zips has declined: In 2017 the county had four zip codes in the top 100.

The most expensive New York City zip code? Downtown's 10013, with a median sales price of $3,795,000, ranked 16th in the country.
