Battle of the Burger, Shorefront Park, near Rider Avenue and Smith Street intersection in Patchogue Village, Sunday, 4 p.m.-7 p.m.

One Long Island burger is going to be crowned the best at the first Battle of the Burger hosted by Long Island Pulse magazine. Among the ten finalists are two Patchogue restaurants, PeraBell Food Bar and Reese's 1900 Pub, the latter as the Amstel Light Wild Card Pick. Opera In Cinema: AIDA, Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center, 20 Terry St., Patchogue, Sunday, 2 p.m.
