British Pop Icon Adam Ant To Perform On Long Island

The "Goody Two Shoes" singer will host The English Beat as a special guest.

PATCHOGUE, NY — British pop music icon Adam Ant will take the stage of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts next year, theater officials said.

He was the lead singer of Adam and the Ants which had hits like "Goody Two Shoes," "Dog Eat Dog," and "Stand and Deliver." His signature style included a braided military jacket and a tricorn hat.

It's his first tour in five years and starts in St. Louis, MO, before heading to Chicago, Detroit, New York City, New Orleans, and Las Vegas, according to consequence.net.

Tickets will run $69 to $309 for the April 6 show.

They are expected to go on sale soon.
