Drivers in Their 90s Involved in Serious LI Crash
A 93-year-old man was critically injured in the crash this afternoon. His car was struck by a car being driven by a 91-year-old woman.

BROOKHAVEN, NY - Two elderly drivers were injured, one critically, in a two-car crash on Long Island Wednesday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, 93-year-old William Connolly was driving a 2012 Mazda west on Montauk Highway, near Arthur Avenue, in Brookhaven at about 2:20 p.m. when his car was struck by a 2000 Grand Marquis that was also heading westbound.
Connolly, of Brookhaven Hamlet, and the other driver, 91-year-old Marion Ardine, of East Patchogue were taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue. Connolly is in critical condition. Ardine suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.
